Improbably Beauitful

In my experience I find it more challenging to capture a clear shot of them as they tend to be more skittish than the monarch butterflies - who generally seem to be much more obliging for a pose 🙂

Back in 2010 when the number of Monarchs reached an all-time low there were fears the species would disappear altogether. Fortunately that didn’t happen.
